A nice thing about going home is exploring your old room to find little treasures like your old MP3 player from high school.
For Christmas junior year, my parents got be a 5mb Dell DJ. It wasn’t an iPod, but it was still pretty kickass. I loaded this little gadget with the finest in indie rock and random pop songs I found on music blogs.
One song I always come back to but never get around to obtaining again is this great great great song by Oliver Ignatius (in the video it’s performed with his band The Hysterics) called Mostly Untitled. I return to this song every now and again and I usually start tapping my toes, swinging my hips and exclaiming “I love this song!”
The music video is just as cute as the song. Watch it and I guarantee it will be your favorite new song.
Drove by a future dream home today. Located on Moxahala Ave in Zanesville, it’s not the best of areas, but it is a beautiful home across from Putnam Landing Park.
Plus it’s $124,900. I may sacrifice living in Zanesville for this home.
p.s. Don’t let the picture frighten you, it looks really dilapidated in the picture, but it really isn’t. It seems to be in fairly decent condition.
p.p.s. thanks to the Muskingum County Auditor, I found out that this gem was built in 1901.

This is me as a cat.
This has been, by far, the BEST finals week in finals week history.
First of all, 50% of my finals were done last monday so I have had an entire week of lounging, working sometimes, but mostly catching up on my sims playing.
Tomorrow I have to write this paper which is my last final. If I was a good student I would have written it on Wednesday, but I have put it off until tomorrow. Oh well, it doesn’t take away from the fact that this has been a kickass week.
Aside from not having to do too much school work, I have only had to work at the Athena and the ‘Rossa once last week, I went out with Rika Thursday night and met some of her new friends and played some really crazy drinking games, spent the night with Megan who also got me free drinks and some good times, and had a very relaxed evening with John yesterday while sharing a drink at Tony’s.
I also got word tonight that I only have to work at the ‘Rossa on Tuesday night so I’m going to spend majority of next week back home with Pat and Mark.

This is my elementary school!
I have been obsessed at looking at abandonned Ohio buildings and I found a neat little site called Old Ohio Schools that offers pictures of old and abandonned schools in every county in Ohio.
Go ahead and look at your county, I’m sure you’ll find some interesting looking old buildings.
Some of my favorite old schools from Muskingum county are Mystery New Concord School, Garfield School (which we used to drive past on the way to the fairgrounds), and Zanesville High School #2.
